Education & Experience

I’ve always been curious about life and interested in business since I was 7 years old (my parents, war refugees, opened the family business as they were building their life from scratch).

These circumstances defined my further interest in business studies, and I’ve been studying business in English for more than 12 years ever since.

Since 2011, I have studied in various programmes and completed my Bachelor's program in Business Administration (BBA),  Master’s degree (MSc) in Economics, and Ph.D. (Doctoral) Programme in Economics and Management (currently working on completing my PhD dissertation). In January 2024, I completed the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme (by Saïd Business School).

I have over 12 years of experience in university education and work (700+ students, 2500+ tutoring sessions, 30+ supervised student projects, 4 University courses developed, 2 funded grants, 10+ publications (incl. WoS, SCOPUS), 15+ conferences (incl. EMAC, AIB, EIBA)). In addition to academic development, I consult business representatives and teach in academic, corporate, and individual formats (topics on Fundamental Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Marketing Communications, Technology-mediated marketing (personalisation, AI), and Consumer Behaviour).

I have supervised more than 30 students' final course projects at the Bachelor level and 4 students' corporate projects at the Master's level (for ex. Armani Beauty, P&G, Urban Decay, L’Oreal).

The average evaluation of my teaching by the anonymous student survey is more than 4.5 out of 5.0.

​

The first time I acted as a tutor was in 2013, and during these 10 years, I had more than 2500 tutoring sessions, both online and offline, in Business English and marketing.

My primary research and managerial focus that I am passionate about is how AI is interlinked with marketing, including the influence of AI development on consumer behaviour, the ethical consequences of such development, and its overall impact on the economies of different types of markets.

In addition to my academic career, I worked as a marketing manager and later acted as the owner of our family business of 20 years. Moreover, I consulted startup managers and marketers on specific marketing issues.

 

In July 2023, I decided to offer my professional services online.
